Originally from Wilmington, DE, I spent a few years traveling up and down the east coast in my early adulthood. Brought up in a family with strong backgrounds in the insurance & financial industry, it was almost expected that I share the same path. I started working at AIG Marketing for my first real job in the corporate world. After a few years learning the insurance/finance lingo, and getting fully licensed, I ventured to Southern Florida where I continued to work for the company. In my spare time I was seeking a education in business by taking classes at Community College, but as a young Mom, I had to discontinue my attendance & concentrate my efforts into my actual career. My time and energy was limited.
I had to work extra hard as a single mother back then. Strenuous hours, extensive field work and hands on experience. I have taken each & every learning opportunity that has been readily available to me as well as, the gift of having superior mentors along the way. I have been seasoned in many environments from the high end corporate world to its counter sister, the small but mighty local firm.
I have produced strong books of business for single companies and brokered for agencies with over 30. I have engaged with presidents & CEO's, and even shared coffee & guidance with the homeless. I have emcee'd to a crowd of over 1000 people to coordinating the entire plans of a brides most important day.
All with Grace, Confidence and Drive. Needless to say, I can adapt anywhere.
My inspiration is my ever supporting husband Peter and my children. I have and continue to give 110% into everything and everyone around me. My husband will tell you that my I am a giver, as would many of the people whose lives I have come across in the past and present.
It is of the utmost importance that I am in an environment that cultivates growth, and which shares the common principles based on transparency, trust, and open communication. I am a complete self starter and strong advocate for global remote teams & management. I guess you could say that I have a particular edge when I am working with a freestyle autonomous company philosophy.
I feel strongly in this day & age that we need to promote freedom and flexibility, which is proven to foster happier employees, higher production and genuine dedication for the business.
